Delivery and cost scope

The named place changes what a price means.

Copy the written delivery term and its exact named place. Do not assume that a broad phrase such as “Nigeria delivery” covers every stage or destination charge.

Separate the three stated lines.

The worksheet considers equipment/package, freight and insurance. Mark each line according to the written offer: separate amount, included in another stated amount, excluded, unknown or expressly not applicable.

An included cost is not necessarily free. An excluded cost is not zero. If you cannot identify where an included charge is counted, leave the point unresolved.

Keep destination responsibilities outside an assumed total.

Duties, taxes, clearance, terminal or port charges, handling and inland transport may require separate confirmation. This website supplies no tariff, customs valuation, exemption decision or final landed-cost estimate.

Use Nigeria place names as references only.

Lagos, Apapa or Tin Can Island can be examples of a proposed destination in a discussion. They are not this website’s office or warehouse address, a booked shipping route, or evidence that an offer includes port or onward delivery.

Ask for one common written basis.

If delivery terms, named places or exclusions differ, ask the suppliers to explain or revise the scope. The worksheet deliberately withholds a direct arithmetic difference where the entered basis remains inconsistent.

A written quotation still needs review.

Confirm the responsible parties and current destination requirements for the actual equipment and transaction with the appropriate advisers or authorities. The worksheet does not verify legal or commercial sufficiency.

A practical next step

Make the exclusions visible.

Use written information, keep missing costs visible and prepare the questions you need answered.
